About HCF

Guardians of Nepal's Natural Heritage

Founded in 2005, Himali Conservation Forum (HCF) is a Nepal-based non-profit organization working at the intersection of biodiversity conservation, community empowerment, and sustainable development in the Himalayan foothills of eastern Nepal.

From protecting endangered Red Pandas in the Taplejung and Ilam districts to restoring degraded forest habitats, HCF collaborates with local communities, government agencies, and international partners to secure a future where both people and wildlife can thrive.
